Persian shield
Here's my contribution to the 'hot containers with persian shield in 'em' category. Persian shield (Strobilanthes), tuberous begonia, young Colocasia esculenta (tubers purchased from the grocery store), Hosta 'Maui Buttercups' division and an unknown Anthurium which, when it blooms, has spathes the same color as the begonia's flowers.

OOOOOOHHH! LOVE! The Colahs! Where did you get the hosta?? And will you plant it in the ground for the winter? I'm assuming you over-winter all your Persian Shields inside--and I'm guessing I may have to as well for a month or two. I did bring the hibiscus in last year. Do you suppose the nicotania will surivive---either inside or out?
