Bloomin' Houseplants

Stuff's bloomin' inside too, folks! Here's a beautiful Rex Begonia I 've had a very long time, and I'm not sure I remember ever seeing it bloom. Here's a nice shot of the leaves:And here's the blooms--I love the little pink freckles:


Well, I bought this bromeliad in bloom a couple weeks ago, so sue me:

Nonetheless it is awesome; it seems to like the bright light of the back slider, and this is shows my latest decorative fad--using colored glass pebbles:


Any idea what kind of bromeliad this is, Annabelle??
